Course Description

How we interact with others is essential to having healthy relationships with audit clients. Having good 'people skills' is a cornerstone of business success. People work harder and better for those who communicate well with them.

Unfortunately, being an effective communicator is not a skill that we are all born with. But, it can be developed. The ability to be able to 'fit in' with a team is often just as important as a person's ability to do the job. Being able to 'relate' to audit clients helps improve the effectiveness of internal audit projects.

Therefore, it is in every auditors best interest to develop interpersonal skills.
